  • 1/4 cup pecans finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Grade A Dark Amber maple syrup for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven broiler and move the oven rack to the top position.
  • Slice each date lengthwise to remove the pit and create a pocket for filling.
  • Stuff each date with mascarpone cheese, then sprinkle with finely chopped pecans.
  • Arrange the stuffed dates on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup.
  • Broil for about 3 minutes or until lightly golden. Watch closely to avoid burning. Cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
