Ingredients

Base Mixture

  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped or in chips
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups Rice Krispie cereal

Instructions

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and prepare a spoon or small scoop for shaping the balls.
  • In a heavy-bottomed pot, melt the semi-sweet chocolate over low to medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
  • Add mini marshmallows to the warm chocolate, stirring until completely melted and combined into a smooth mixture.
  • Take the pot off the heat and add the Rice Krispie cereal. Stir until all pieces are evenly coated with the chocolate-marshmallow blend.
  • Use a spoon or cookie scoop to portion the mixture and roll into even-sized balls. Grease your hands lightly if the mixture is sticky.
  • Place the shaped balls on the prepared tray and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.

Notes

For a fun variation, swap semi-sweet chocolate for white or dark chocolate. Add peanut butter, sprinkles, or mini M&Ms for extra flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
