Hi, I’m Lilya Miller!

Welcome to my blog, Lilya Food! I’m a dedicated wife and a busy mom to my two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. Our home, nestled in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, is a place filled with love, laughter, and the delicious aromas of home baking. For as long as I can remember, cooking and baking have been my passion, a true love language through which I nourish my family. However, our family’s journey into gluten-free eating wasn’t a choice, but a necessity that deeply challenged my culinary world.

Our Family’s Gluten-Free Journey and Diagnosis


For years, my children suffered from persistent health issues, including recurring stomach pains, digestive distress, and a noticeable lack of energy, which was heartbreaking for me as a mother. We visited numerous doctors, and both my son and daughter underwent various tests, but we never received a clear diagnosis. Medical advice offered little relief, and we felt increasingly frustrated, with no solution in sight.

With encouragement from my husband and extensive personal research, we decided to try a gluten-free diet as a last resort. What happened next was nothing short of miraculous! Within just a few short weeks, my children’s symptoms began to vanish completely. My son’s vitality returned, and my daughter’s radiant smile brightened once more. It was a profound moment when we realized that the very food we were eating was causing their discomfort. The diagnosis was later confirmed: a significant sensitivity to gluten.

This experience fundamentally changed our lives. While the initial challenge felt immense, I was determined to transform this personal journey into a source of inspiration and support for others.
